“What a long strange trip it’s been” – GD
I don’t remember the exact date of my first awakening moment. Somewhere around April of 2012. Up to that moment i was lost in much suffering. Waves of anger, depression, fear etc… It all came to an immense breaking point that year and gratefully my mom handed me “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle. I remember feeling a bit hesitant to read it, but my desperation for answers overcame my fear. So I started reading it and…. it made so much sense. It was like finding something i didn’t realize i was looking for my whole life. From what i remember of the first awakening moments… there was deep, deep feelings of love for everyone/everything. A level of compassion was understood that everyone is doing their best and all can be forgiven. Also a quieting of the raging river of the mind.
I felt tremendous feelings of relief, as if the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders. There was much bliss and deep peace. I then realized this is why i am here and what i am meant to be involved in. So i quite my day job and went deep into studying Eckhart and many other spiritual teachers. Over the next 5 years i went through a pretty intense integration process of working through all (or most) of my ego patterns and painbody. Slowly being able to hold presence in this moment more and more consistently.
From the very beginning, i felt a deep desire to teach/share these experiences but i certainly wasn’t ready in the beginning. Once I started to experience the awakened state throughout the majority of each day, i knew it was time to start teaching, and being of service to the collective awakening in whatever way life sees fit…
I am infinitely grateful for the gifts and healing of the awakening process and i am honored to be able to help “others” 😉
